The Best Brewpubs in Spokane — A Local's Guide from South Hill

Spokane's craft beer scene has exploded in recent years, and as hosts who've lived on the South Hill for years, we've had the pleasure of watching it grow. Whether you're looking for a post-hike pint, a trivia night with friends, or a full dinner paired with something hoppy, Spokane has a brewpub for you.

Here are our absolute favorites — all easily accessible from Manito Bungalow.

Lumberbeard Brewing

If we had to pick one favorite, Lumberbeard might be it. This is the brewery where the beer is great, the food is even better, and the vibe is exactly right. Their boneless wings are absurdly good — crispy, perfectly sauced, and the kind of thing you'll order every single visit. The pretzel bites with beer cheese are another must-order. Pair them with one of their rotating IPAs or a smooth amber ale, and you've got a perfect Spokane evening.

No-Li Brewhouse

No-Li is Spokane's flagship brewery, and for good reason. Sitting right on the Spokane River with a gorgeous patio, this is the brewery that put Spokane craft beer on the national map. Their Born & Raised IPA is a Pacific Northwest icon, and the Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout is a cold-weather classic. The river-view patio in summer is one of the best dining experiences in the city.

Brick West Brewing Co.

Located in a beautifully converted historic building downtown, Brick West combines industrial-chic atmosphere with consistently excellent beer. It's a great spot for larger groups, and they regularly host events and live music. The food menu is solid, and the beer selection ranges from crisp lagers to hop-forward IPAs.

Whistle Punk Brewing

A cozy, no-frills taproom that's all about the beer. Whistle Punk consistently produces some of the most interesting and well-crafted beers in Spokane. It's the kind of place where the brewer might be sitting at the bar next to you. Great for beer nerds who appreciate quality over flash.

Perry Street Brewing

The heart and soul of the Perry District. Perry Street Brewing is the neighborhood brewery done right — a place where locals gather, dogs hang out on the patio, and the beer is always solid. The food is great pub fare, and the location in Spokane's trendiest walking district means you can combine it with coffee shops and boutiques.

Trivia Nights & Weekly Events

Many of Spokane's brewpubs host weekly trivia nights — a great way to spend an evening. Check with each brewery for their current schedule, as trivia nights tend to rotate seasonally. Lumberbeard and Perry Street Brewing are both known for hosting popular weekly events.

All of these breweries are an easy drive — or rideshare — from Manito Bungalow. After a day exploring Manito Park or hiking the trails, there's no better way to end the day than with a Spokane craft beer.
