Free Summer Swimming in Spokane — A Family Pool Guide

Here's something most visitors to Spokane don't know: the city operates six public swimming pools, and admission is completely free. All you need is a SplashPass — a free digital registration that works like a library card — and your family has access to outdoor pools all summer long.

If you're staying at Manito Bungalow with kids (or without — adults love pool days too), this is one of the best perks of a Spokane summer visit.

The SplashPass

The SplashPass is Spokane's free digital pool pass. There's no cost — zero, nada — and registration takes just a few minutes online. Once you're registered, you can visit any of the six city pools. Think of it as Spokane's way of making summer accessible to everyone.

Register at SpokaneParks.org/aquatics before your trip so you're ready to swim when you arrive.

After the Pool

A pool day pairs perfectly with the rest of what Spokane's South Hill has to offer. Head back to the bungalow to change, then walk to Manito Tap House or Remedy for dinner, or swing by Lumberbeard for boneless wings and a cold beer. Summer in Spokane is pretty hard to beat.
