Sometimes in the middle of the Pacific Northwest, you need a taste of the islands. When that craving hits in Spokane, there's one place to go: Aloha Island Grill. Serving authentic Hawaiian plate lunches, poke bowls, and island favorites, Aloha brings a little bit of paradise to the Inland Northwest — and it's quickly become one of our favorite spots to send guests from Manito Bungalow.
The Food
Aloha Island Grill serves the kind of Hawaiian comfort food that transports you. The menu is built around traditional plate lunch culture — generous portions of protein served with two scoops of Hawaiian sticky rice and your choice of salad. It's filling, flavorful, and exactly what island food should be.
Must-Try Dishes
- Teriyaki Chicken — Grilled with a sweet, savory glaze and served over sticky rice. Simple, perfect.
- Kalua Pork — Slow-cooked, smoky, and tender. A traditional luau staple done right.

Why We Love It
Aloha Island Grill nails the thing that matters most about Hawaiian food: it makes you feel good. The portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and the whole experience is warm and welcoming. It's the kind of place where you walk in craving something specific and leave having tried three things you didn't expect. And the prices are incredibly reasonable — you can feed the whole family without breaking the bank.
After a day exploring Manito Park or hiking the trails, a big plate of kalua pork and sticky rice hits differently. Trust us on this one.
